Frozen MorningsEcho closed the door quietly behind her, making sure it was fully closed before heading down the pathway from the mansion. She pulled her jacket close to her, even if the cold didn't really bother her. She watched as he breath disappeared in soft little puffs into the cool night air. It was nearing close to morning, nearly four or five in the morning. She didn't care though, she hadn't slept the night before anyways.
Walking into the city, she stopped in the town square, looking down at the still fountain, staring into her reflection. She made a face, glaring for a moment before turning away.
"You know, it is probably not safe for a girl like you to be out at a time like dis." a deep growl of a voice said from the other side of the fountain. She barely even reacted, turning to look at a tall tanned man. He stood with his hands in his pockets of his trench coat, the sleeves ripped off to show his bare arms. Creepy CrawliesHe walked along the edge of the wall, trailing his hand across the cool concrete, humming under his breath. He never liked to be here, but he missed his father. Stopping at the end of the wall, right before it gave out to a gaping pit in the ground. He turned his blue eye behind him with enough time to catch a man running towards him. He didn't have enough time to react and was pushed out of the way, falling into the pit.
He fell in darkness, landing face first into something that squished under his body. Slowly sit up, he felt a cold liquid run down his forehead, his skin crawling.
It took him a moment to realize that wasn't his skin.
His eyes widened as he let out a silent shriek, trying to spit out the creatures that wriggled and crawled through his mouth, clawing at his face and ears. They crawled across his skin, though his mouth and nose, across his clenched eyes and over his neck. Down his arms and up his chest all the way to his legs, he was covered in the creatures that tried

Dans son esprit il pouvait les voir, tournant au dessus de sa tête comme autant de vautours prêts à la curée.
Le bruit assourdi des détonations résonna et tout autour d'Emmanuel une pluie de plumes commença à virevolter tandis que cinq bruits sourds accompagnaient la chute d'autant de corps autour de lui.
