Standing in the middle of his room, Marchxides was looking in his mirror. He traced the outline of his face in the reflection and paused as the image of his younger face came to his mind. Bright blue eyes and stark white hair stare into a mirror. There wasn't a single scar, piercing, or tattoo on his face. He wore a short sleeved blue shirt and a pair of brown pants. His black cuffs hung loosely around his wrists. A black and neon green striped cat sat on the top of the mirror, it's mouth moving as it spoke to him.
"It's a big day for you isn't it, Arch?" The calm soothing voice said.
He looked up at the cat's bright yellow eyes and grinned, nodding. "Yeah!" It was the first day that Yen Sid was going to let him work on a spell by himself. He had tied his hair back, both blue eyes bright and shining as he reached up and took down the cat, petting it's head lightly. The cat purred and nuzzled into his hand.
"Is that all that's today?" the cat mussed.
"No." He almost giggled. "I get to see babbo again."
"Ohhh, that's right." That cat purred. "He's coming to visit from Radiant Garden isn't he?"
"Yeah! It's been so long since I've seen him, I can't wait!"
Not but a few seconds after he had said that did the door open. Turning around, he was looking at a tall man who had to duck down under the doorway just to get in. He had long black and purple streaked hair that was pulled back into a pony tail. A think blue tattoo went under his eye, dotting to the side. Above the same eye there was a red mark that went up to his eyebrow and curved up a little. His bright neon blue eye looked at the little boy and lit up. "Bello, Archimedes look at how you've grown." A deep voice filled his ears as he set down the cat and ran to the man, arms outstretched to be swept up into a hug.
March had himself braced against the wall, panting softly. Was that, a memory or a dream? He looked into the mirror, neon blue eyes appearing to glow. A wide grin passed over his face, matching that of the man he had seen. The man that was his father.
"I've got to tell Raxyl." He said to himself before rushing from the room.
