"Augmentus, what's wrong?" Nugget was walking after the blonde girl that was storming off to her room.
"Go away." She growled.
Nugget made a soft sound as he continued to follow. "Augmentus. You've never been like this before. Something's wrong."
"Oh, you finally decided to notice now, did you?" she asked, spinning around to face him, blue eyes in a harsh glare.
Nugget took a slight step back, not sure what to make of the look.
"Thought you'd never look away from your new girlfriend's ass."
He blinked a few times, jaw slightly falling open. "E-Excuse me? How it that... I don't..." He looked up slightly before looking back to her. "You feel neglected. That's what this is, isn't it?"
She growled a little at him, ears flattened against her skull. "Oh no. Not at all." she snapped, turning away again to go into her room, leaving the door wide open.
"Augmentus..." Nugget started, following after her like a lost puppy. He didn't like his friends being mad at him, certainly not Augmentus. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to neglect you."
"Oh?" her ears perked up slightly. "Oh, on it's fine." her voice holding a sarcastic tone. "You said I was like a daughter to you, so why not neglect me like one?"
Nugget's heart nearly stopped as he stared at her, mind racing. "I don't..." he started, his voice much quieter then he had expected it to be.
"You left your kids in a dangerous world to be raised by a prostitute and a killed because you were too scared to even go near them."
Augmentus turned on him again, this time much slower as she spoke, a burning hatred in her eyes.
"Bishiop makes you feel like a failure as a father and you're ashamed of him. Cricket hates you and tells you that he does every single day and would rather have you die alone then ever be with you. Ambrosia hates it here but won't say a thing and you despise Puff."
"I don't-" he started, this time stronger but he was cut off by her.
"Because she looks like your dead wife that you never really got over and never will and you're desperately trying to replace the hole she left in your chest with someone you don't love and don't even find attractive but you'll play along so you don't have to be alone anymore."
Nugget stared at her in a mix of awe and pain. There was a knot forming in his chest slowly making it's way up to his throat as he felt the gut wrenching pain spread through his body.
"Augmentus..." he whispered, choking on his own words. "What happened?" He slowly reached out to her and she smacked away his hand.
"Don't touch me." she snapped.
He pulled his hand back, whimpering a little as he looked at her with hurt eyes. "But... I.... I thought I was you're friend." he whispered.
"I did too." she growled. "Get out." she pointed to the door before turning away again, shoulders tense.
He stood there, reaching out to her again but he ended up getting a fist to the face that knocked him back.
"BAD DOG!" she yelled at him. "Get out and go live your fake life with your fake family!"
Nugget stood there, holding his cheek lightly before turning and leaving quickly with his head down.
"I'm sorry." he wispered as he hurried to his room, tears springing to his eyes that he couldn't risk anyone seeing.
So, Augmentus has finally snapped and this is the start of it.
With Nugget.
